What material are the wraps made from?

All TideStrike boat wraps are produced using genuine 3M marine-grade vinyl and protected with a premium UV-resistant laminate for long-term durability and excellent resistance to harsh marine conditions.

Will the wraps stick to aluminium boats?

Yes. TideStrike boat wraps are suitable for both aluminium and fibreglass boats, provided the surface is clean, smooth and in good condition prior to installation.

Will the wraps survive saltwater use?

Yes. Our wraps are manufactured using premium marine-grade materials designed to withstand both saltwater and freshwater environments.

Can I customise the design?

Our Custom Series boat wraps allow you to personalise your boat name and selected design elements. Standard Series wraps are supplied as shown and cannot be modified.

What size are the wraps?

Most TideStrike half wraps are supplied at approximately 2000mm x 660mm per side. Please refer to the individual product page for exact sizing information.

Are these full boat wraps?

No. TideStrike graphics are supplied as premium half wraps designed to enhance the appearance of your boat while retaining the original hull colour. They are not intended to completely cover the boat.

Can I install the wrap myself?

Yes. TideStrike boat wraps are designed for DIY installation and include fitting instructions along with a free felt-edged application squeegee.

Do I need to remove the boat from the water?

Yes. The boat must be clean, dry and out of the water during installation to ensure the best possible adhesion and finish.

What is included with my order?

Your order includes the boat graphics, fitting instructions and a free felt-edged application squeegee.

Can the wraps be removed later?

Yes. The wraps can be removed using heat and appropriate vinyl removal techniques. Removal difficulty may vary depending on age, exposure and environmental conditions.

How long will the wraps last?

Durability depends on storage, climate and usage conditions. However, our premium materials are designed for long-term outdoor performance and excellent UV resistance.

Will the wrap damage my paint or gelcoat?

When applied to a properly prepared surface in good condition, the wrap should not damage sound paint, gelcoat or factory finishes.

Do you provide design proofs?

Yes. Design proofs are available for custom boat wraps where required prior to production.

Can the wraps be trimmed to fit my boat?

Yes. Many customers choose to trim the graphics during installation to achieve the perfect fit for their particular boat.

Are the wraps suitable for painted boats?

Yes. TideStrike wraps can be applied to painted surfaces provided the paint is fully cured, well bonded and in good condition.

How should I prepare my boat before installation?

The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and free from dirt, wax, polish, silicone, salt residue and other contaminants before installation.

Are fitting instructions included?

Yes. Easy-to-follow fitting instructions are included with every order to help achieve professional-looking results.

Can I wash my boat after installation?

Yes. We recommend allowing the wrap to fully bond before washing. Avoid aggressive scrubbing and high-pressure washing directly at the edges of the graphics.

Do the wraps come with a warranty?

All TideStrike boat wraps are manufactured using premium materials designed for marine use. Please refer to individual product pages for current warranty information.
